THE SCOUT HUT
Ideally located on Eastern Road, close to the Common, the Scout Hut enjoys a central position within the village. Used by nearly 100 young people every week of all ages, it is child-friendly and makes a great venue for parties, meetings, or other activities.
A number of groups meet regularly in it during the week including exercise classes and a dance school. It is excellent value and available for hire most days.
Following recent work, the hut has been freshly painted and the floor has been completely replaced to provide a safe, attractive and clean environment for all who use it.
Kitchen facilities are available, suitable for cooking or simply providing refreshments at your events, and include an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and urn, as well as crockery and cutlery.
Set back from the road, the hut sits in its own surroundings which provide a safe environment for outdoor activities and an ideal alternative to spending an entire event inside during the warmer months.
