Our New Beaver Grow Area
Our New Beaver Grow Area

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members, usually aged between six and eight years old.  Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. They meet together once a week during term time in a Beaver Scout Colony.

Our Beavers follow a Balanced Programme, based around creativity and starting to gain independence while trying out many different activities and experiencing new adventures.  They work towards activity and challenge badges, and we aim for as many as possible to earn the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award during their time with us.  However, the most important parts are having fun, joining in and trying their best.

We currently have two Beaver colonies:

  • Tuesday 5.30pm – 6.30pm
  • Thursday 6pm - 7pm

These are extremely popular and we operate a waiting list for new members.  If you would like to find out more, take a look at our page on how to join.
